By successfully completing this weekend, I can now almost die happy. I have seen The Flaming Lips and Wayne run atop a crowd of hundreds. I have seen Sonic Youth and Kim and Thurston being fantastically flawless. Only may the close up sight of Roger Daltry next friday throw me over the edge. I think that for a split second I forgot how amazing music is and can be. Thankfully I have returned to a full state of intelligence. Although I am scared to go back to school, I am thankful that I have a lot of kickass music to listen to and plenty of lovelorn thoughts to accompany my days.

Pretty good summer so far :

I hope everything keeps going the way it has been - although i am scared for 1. registration and 2. new job and 3. everyone leaving and 4. growing older without appreciating everything - but that is more of a general comment about life i suppose.

I wish there was a sunblock that could block the whole shitter out. Like SPF 183489...though I learned that SPF is just something about time and has nothing to do with what I thought it meant (like unstoppable protection SPF 50 versus frying oil SPF 4).

Everything smells like smoke here or dog shit, but i bought a really skanky top today so all is well.

I am like one of those people who will say the absolute most innappropriate thing in a time of crisis - much like I make fucking shit lj posts at times when I should be concentrating on apparent bigger things in life. Strangely enough, This post is only being made so that I can defer my imagination away from thinking how nice it would be to be completely intoxicated beyond any belief, in my underwear, in summer, with a super cool koala (or friend, or dude - whatever). I hope jesus (a.k.a. the man) takes pity on the fact that I haven't had fun for like a week - possibly more - and I don't know..blows up Carleton or Heidi or Parliament or a popcorn truck.

Did you know they have websites dedicated to popcorn and I waste my time reading chapter after chapter on some vicious criminal on crimelibrary.com. Being unemployed sucks, and now I have too much time to not do work and sleep more.

It's funny how after reading the same shitty article over and over again, and finally writing a couple of pages to analyze it, the things that pop into my mind.

Like right now, at 12:44am, I am listening to the format, because chris told me that they were one of his top 3 bands.
Then after that song, iTunes goes on to play some song Grant sent me by the french kicks that i didn't really get, though chris (see above) said he liked their new stuff.
Then KISS. hmm. no connection there, except that today i watched rock school and contemplated the idea of having sex with a young gene simmons, and then an older version, as he is in the present time.
Which makes me think of Joey's house, and how i was there today. That leads me to believe that one of Joey's friends is transforming into a power hungry Joseph Stalin type; which i must say is terribly unfortunate.

I am now thinking that I don't make quite a lot of sense..ever.

So I went to Death Cab for Cutie in Montreal on Sunday.
I think I'm still trying to process what happened.

Everything lately seems melancholic and dreary.
It might just be the weather but I think that there is more to it.
I also feel like I have been separated from something important; I need to get it back.
